Please note that Ellesmere Medical Centre is not open on Bank/Public Holidays. Should you need to see a doctor outside our opening hours, please ring the surgery and your phone call will be automatically transferred to the out-of-hours service.

In an emergency (eg severe chest pain, sudden disabling breathlessness, collapse, severe injury, etc) please telephone the emergency services on 999.

The telephone is on transfer daily between 12.30-1.30pm to the out of hours service.

Training and Development meetings take place at the practice every 3 months. This is to enable all the clinical and non clinical staff to receive a regular programme of training. Dates of closure will be advertised in the Surgery.

Wednesday Afternoons Practice Closure

The practice closes every Wednesday afternoon between 12.30 and 1.30pm and on one Wednesday in every three months from 1.00 to 6.00pm for training purposes. This is to enable all the clinical and non-clinical staff to receive a regular programme of training and development. Notice of the closure dates will be given in advance.
